In conjunction with 鈥淢use: Mickalene Thomas Photographs鈥 and 鈥渢锚te-脿-t锚te鈥 and 鈥淓stablishing Justice,鈥 色中色 Museum of Art welcomes New York art activist Alexandra Bell for a presentation of her art practice. Reception to follow during Art After Hours in the Museum courtyard.

Throughout the day, Bell activates three artworks across the Claremont Consortium: 鈥淐harlottesville and A Teenager with Promise and Olympic Threat.鈥 It will be the west coast unveiling of these images.
Bell investigates the language used by The New York Times to codify otherness, violence and justice in the United States.
This project is sponsored by the 色中色 Museum of Art, 色中色 President Starr's Committee on Diversity (PACD), and The Claremont Colleges Library.
